mayerj72 asked: I’ve had a cat in the past and it was the easiest thing ever to train it how to use a kitty litter. now that I have a dog it’s the hardest thing ever to teach him not to use the house as a toilet. I know that some learn faster than others, but my question is, why do dogs have such a hard time with that and cats don’t? It already seems to be preinstalled in cats.

Money MAKER™ asked: Also, is it ok if i wasnt home during the day due to school, or do they always need supervision.
And do they get along with cats?
Lastly, what work needs to be done if I were to get a dog. Like i know they need to be walked, feed, and have shots done etc. but is there anything else? and is a small dog really hard to take care of?
Thanks!

samantha w asked: I have a maltese and she will be 1 year old August 7th. I have had her to the groomers to have a hair cut 3 times. But I was wondering how long it will take her hair to grow out to the floor. And what is the best brush to use on her when it gets that long. I am using a cat like brush now. which is what the groomers suggested…. keeps her hair from knotting up

missrashelle asked: I have two cats and a fairly small maltese-terrier (all three of them are very very spoiled) but I’m starting to get really annoyed with how often I buy cat food cuz I can’t get the dog to stop eating it! My mom told me to feed the cats at night when the dog’s in his cage but I don’t think that’s fair to my kitties, and they were here first. When I catch him, I spank him and when I can tell he licked the bowl clean I spank him. I promise you he knows very well that he’s not supposed to but doesn’t care that he’ll get smacked when he’s caught. What in the world can I do? Is there some magical food that’s appropriate for cats and small dogs? Anyone have any ideas?
Oh, and they all are fed dry food

kianna b asked: I have been told by my vet that spaying and neutoring my pets is a good idea but I am a bit afraid to. My male Min Pin has a very lively, spunky personality that I would hate to lose and my female Maltese has a very calm and peaceful nature. I would hate to lose those qualities. They are both great with other dogs, cats, children etc. and have amazingly perfect tempraments. My Min Pin hasn’t been marking territory, humping etc. since he was 9 months old. He was housebroken at 11 months and my Maltese doesn’t have any un-wanted problems. She was housebroken by 5 months of age so I am afraid they may start doing things in the house. What are the pros AND cons of spaying and neutoring my dogs? I need proper answers as anybody who has faced this deiema will understand my worries of fixing my dogs!
Regards,
Kianna.
