My cat… My life…

My 1 yr old shitzou maltese mix dog is a very picky eater. He barely eats any food and we’ve tried many types of dry food. He eats the food that comes in cans ofcourse but that is to expensive.

When we went to my friends house he started eating the cat food they had out for their cat and he absolutaly loved it. Will it harm my dog to give him cat food? Will he get all the nutrients he needs?

(the cat food at my friends house was for adult cats.)

My boyfriend and I rescued a cat 2 years ago who had just previously had 7 kittens, he kept two and I kept one, so the cats are related. Recently we brougt my cat to his house to reunite them with his brothers, and he only met one and totally flipped out! It was a hissing and growling competition. I was wondering how do you go about introducing cats to each other (even though they are related) in a healthy way so that you dont loose the trust of your cats or end up with a constant cat quarral?

The crawl space, garage, house and attic are all connected by cat hole doors so my cats have a lot of patrol freedom for catching mice and rats. How can I get the stray cat out? Smoke?

I have 4 cats and tonight I’m going to get another cat (not kitten) from a friend who can’t keep the cat. Does anyone have good suggestions for getting the cats used to each other quickly? How can I convince my existing cats to get along with the new cat?
