Do people think cats are evolving to become more dependent?
Friday, December 12th, 2008claire1332 asked:
This is a question I’ve been wondering about recently. I’ve noticed that a lot more people are getting more than one cat, and a lot of them say it’s because their cat was lonely and needed a buddy (obviously that shouldn’t be the only reason to get another cat). Personally, I have two cats and neither of them act very independent at all. I’m not sure what i think on this matter, but I was wondering what other people think. Do you think cats are evolving to become less independent?

The establishment of yesteryear had more to contend with than a cat smoking a cigarette in public. What wrong?

What’s wrong with this new generation of politicats? Banning public smoking is the best they have to offer for taking our minds off of the fiasco they created in the Middle East? These people are full of crap. Second hand smoke is just another smokescreen. The have plenty of better things to do with their time than to worry if Keith Richards is smoking onstage or if any of the rest of us smoke in our homes, outside, in our own cars or wherever. The ban on smoking in the great outdoors is ludicriss.I don’t even smoke & even I think it’s assinine.

Should I bleach my black cat to white?
Tuesday, November 11th, 2008Joe King asked:
Being black she is at increased risk of being run over at night. White would show up more at night. Better still maybe some of those bright hair colours people seem to dye their hair with Maybe I should have got a white cat in the first place. The other idea is to fit her with a bright orange jacket like motorway workers use, this may be much better than hair bleach which could harm the cat if she licks it off.
I am not serious by the way. I asked this question to get some funny answers

How can I get my cat to like other cats?
Thursday, November 6th, 2008WinkleDoodle asked:
My cat, Rocket, is the happiest and sweetest cat that I’ve ever met. She purrs all the time and loves being cuddled and held, but there’s one problem: while she’s so loving and happy with people, she hates other cats. She will turn nearly feral towards them. Is there any way to get her used to other cats, so she can at least be in the same room as them?

Do Maltese really have dander? whatsoever?
Friday, October 31st, 2008Alisha F asked:
Hi,I am a very cronic asthmatic with allergies to dogs, cats and basically any animals with fur or dander. But, I LOVE dogs and have always wanted one. Some people have told me that maltese are hypo-allergenic and don’t produce dander that could, well, kill me— Is this true? Can anyone offer advise or proof?
