Can A Cat Get Lung Cancer From Second Hand Smoke?
Saturday, November 22nd, 2008The establishment of yesteryear had more to contend with than a cat smoking a cigarette in public. What wrong?
Monday, November 17th, 2008What’s wrong with this new generation of politicats? Banning public smoking is the best they have to offer for taking our minds off of the fiasco they created in the Middle East? These people are full of crap. Second hand smoke is just another smokescreen. The have plenty of better things to do with their time than to worry if Keith Richards is smoking onstage or if any of the rest of us smoke in our homes, outside, in our own cars or wherever. The ban on smoking in the great outdoors is ludicriss.I don’t even smoke & even I think it’s assinine.
Is cigarette smoke bad for cats?
Wednesday, November 12th, 2008Cat Constantly Exposed to Second-Hand Smoke?
Friday, October 31st, 2008I know this man (around 45 years old) who lives in a tiny, tiny cramped apartment with his cat.
He probably smokes a pack or two a day (cigarettes) with all the windows and doors shut.
He’s unemployed, so he literally spends the day smoking inside while watching TV.
My friends and I stayed at his place for a few days, and the whole time, he was smoking indoors, w/o any ventilation. I felt like I was choking to death the whole time, and my eyes were completely bloodshot.
Now I just realized that his CAT lives with him everyday. He knows the dangers of second-hand smoke, but he scoffs at polite requests to smoke outside.
Isn’t this bad for his cat? I’m a little worried.
Should I bring up the cat issue to him? My friends and I are only 17-19 years old. (I’m 18)
If you\’re allergic to cats, do cat allergens harm your lungs as bad as second hand smoke?
Tuesday, September 30th, 2008I heard that if you’re allergic to cats, their allergens can harm your lungs as bad as second hand smoke. In the same way as your lungs damage themselves by overreacting to smoke (inflaming and forming scar tissue), they do the same things when exposed to cat allergens.
Is this true?
